March Newsletter 2017

CASEY U3A

We now have 320 enrolments with a good attendance at most classes.

Classes still with vacancies include The Chess Club, Drawing Class, Pyrographic Art, Taiqi (Beginners and Advanced) at Woodlands Park on Thursday, Keyboard Advanced and The Games Club. Most other classes are full, some with a waiting list.

The next Soapbox on Sunday April 23rd at 2pm will be a discussion on “living in England during the Blitz”. Everyone who experienced this, or have family stories about it, are invited to come are share them with us. Call Peter on 0418557808 if you would like to share your life experience or just come along and enjoy a cuppa afterwards. All welcome.

Due to school holidays The Golden Time Playgroup will be here only on April 21st. We would like to see more residents join in the fun.

Come along and joins us at Wilsons Botanic Park on Saturday April 1st from 10 till 2pm. Over 16 Community Groups and organisations will be offering information, music, entertainment, a sausage sizzle plus food and plants for sale and freebies. A good time but not good weather guaranteed.

Class lists, Timetable and Enrolment Forms are available at the Fiddlers Green office, or you can download from the internet. There is a Programme Timetable on the U3A Notice Board. For all enquiries my number is 97071604

John and I would like to wish all members and their families A Safe and Happy Easter.

P.S during April I will be selling Anzac badges in the Hub and at The Corner Shop in aid of the Berwick Branch of the RSL.
